1. Howard played poorly, but not unexpectedly bad given some of his games this year (KSU, OSU, UT). No point over analyzing since he is what he is and isn't going to change. His crowd gesture to the boos says it all about his mentality.

2. Defense should be embarrassed. Stupid penalties and pansy arm tackles. That second OU TD is a prime example of how badly it cost us.

3. Crawford has a lot to offer, but is not big enough to plough through guys. If he can't juke em, he needs to get his butt down.

4. OU is a good team. Their offensive line just owned the point of attack every play in that first half. However their defense isn't that good and WVU just failed to take advantage. As I feared, those miscues and mistakes we saw even in blow out wins like the TCU or KU game cost us in the Big game.

If a school takes DH good for them. Promote Gibson and let's keep going.

Horrible showing the team should be embarassed as well as the coaches. The defense was awful- like a hs team against pros.

Terrible effort and no discipline all around.

Stoops don't 'own' nobody. I will admit that Penn State once 'owned' WV but that was a long time ago.

It's simple.
WVU handed the game to Oklahoma on a silver platter with 4 turnovers to start the game. 35-0 deficit. Game over before it started.

50,000 people left the stadium during the 3rd quarter. Not me. I don't blame them. This was one of the worst WVU "efforts" in years. It was a combination of stagefright and deer in the headlights.

WVU 3rd quarter effort was good to see, but it felt more like pity points.

Oklahoma is good. WVU made the Sooners the greatest team in history.
The game was far worse than the final score.

Cuyahoga Falls............................you nailed it. It all started when the Sooners trampled the WV logo at midfield. Holgs must have built Oklahoma up to the point that WV was seeing 'deer in the headlights' before the game got underway as you suggest. The rest is history. Now...............I would like to see the Mountaineers win out and go to a respectable bowl. Let's pray for peace among the Mountaineer nation.
