A chance at a 1-2 seed which earns an opening game against TTU, KSU, OSU, or TCU for the tournament would look a lot better with us taking that very winnable game. Not all that surprised by losing to KU at their house, although a little disappointed in not staying competitive in the end. Lots of tough games left for WVU, KU, and OU and hopefully WVU can come out with at least a 2 seed to give our guys the best chance to avoid bouncing from the Big XII tournament after one game as any opponent outside of the bottom 4 can ball well enough to do so. That can then move toward a 2-3 seed in the big dance.

We can get it back by winning at UT. That Texas game was an abomination, its hard to believe we play that poorly ever again. The issue is that game sparked Texas and they have been playing much better than they played against us

We're not going to end up in the top three of the Big 12. Thus, a one or two seed shouldn't be considered lost because of that single game.

Wishing we won a game we lost probably isn't all that unpopular of an opinion.

Another unpopular opinion: I wish we made every 3 point shot we took and never missed a foul shout - folks might disagree, but that's what I think!

I see you're back making even more outrageous claims. Still think that Las Vegas tipoff time shows that state of WVU's basketball program?[laughing]

I'd have rather won at 2 Oklahoma in the same week we beat 1 Kansas. Ironically, we were closer to doing that than beating TX in the Coliseum.

I'd also rather win at Texas, which is still available.

As to the BXII tournament, after a true double round robin, it seems like overkill, but that's the way it is. We do need to get over the hump & notch at least one W in Kansas City. Then I'd rather have the team rest and focus on the NCAAs. The resume will have already been well established by then. A deep conference tournament run is neat, but a NCAA run is what defines the season.

Would take making the Sweet 16 over winning the BXII tournament then flaking out in the first round like I-State.

We were closer to beating OU at Norman than beating Texas at home. I just think our Texas loss was much more self inflicted than the loss at OU.

While it would be nice to win the B12 tourney, but I much rather prefer a deep run in the NCAA's.......if I had to choose.

Texas has been playing really solid BB backed up by the fact that they cracked the top 25.

Heck for that matter Texas is our worst loss and they have an RPI of 20. Pretty solid if you ask me.
