UK fans in denial who their true rivals are and should be - Insecure Cowards

One day I hope college sports wake up and puts Wvu, Louisville, Pitt, UK, VT in the same conference and calls it the Big East - so Rutgers comes back too


UK has been hiding in the SEC for TOO LONG beating peasants while running up inflated win totals. They would have been in either the Big 10 or the old Big East by now if they had any guts - but noooooo.. they just pick on the weak football only schools and get gifted 1 seeds. I'm not even gonna bring up how much they pay recruits big time $$$ or how they owe their expensive little 6 year run to the Chicago pipeline (Anthony Davis, Jahlil Okafor, exct)


Lets get to the biggest issue. Their main geographical rivals are Louisville and WVU. Why aren't they in the same conference as them creating rivalries comparable to Bama/Auburn or Duke/UNC or Ohio St/Michigan ?????? SEC bias and easy conference schedules is why. Cowards.

The last time I looked, UK beat Louisville, but beat UNC and UCLA both by more than thirty points this season. UK isn't hiding from anyone. They are a charter member in the SEC now for over 100 years. Kentucky has won more games than anyone in the history of basketball.

The ACC is the only contender for UK now. All the other conferences couldn't come together with an all-star team and beat Kentucky this season.

Your first huge mistake was over 100 years in the SEC. You have no clue about history. The first conference that Kentucky joined was the Southern Conference - in the year 1922. That was less than 100 years ago. The SEC was formed in the 1930's when most of the current members withdrew from the Southern Conference. And when I say Southern Conference - it is the same Southern Conference that exists today. Almost every Division 1-A and 1-AA college south of the Mason Dixon line and east of the Mississippi River has been a member of the Southern Conference at one time.
