I couldn't stand Hurley at Duke and I don't much like him on the sidelines at UB either.

The more I read about them the less comfortable I get with this matchup. Hurley is a rising star in coaching, and was a juggernaut high school coach who likely steered some very good players from his old program to Buffalo. This will be a dogfight, I really hope they wear down in the 2nd half and we put them away.

As a native Western New Yorker I love this match-up. Gonna shuffle off to Buffalo on Friday and enjoy the game with some wings done right and good local brews.

Darth...out of curiosity did you happen to get out to that Baylor matchup AT the U at B stadium last Sept? I think it was a Friday night matchup...the venue just struck me as a bit odd? Baylor visiting a MAC team in a 30,000 seat stadium...but then we do know all about the Bears weak ooc scheduling habits, just figured they would have played em in a brand new stadium at home....

Also is Anchor bar still the chosen place for wings? Or you know of another secret spot I can visit next time I'm down there?.....

No, I wasn't there. UB's stadium is in Amherst on their North Campus. Nothing particularly special about it. Suburban environment, no charm worth mentioning. Very good medical and research institution and AAU member.

Anchor is mostly a tourist attraction nowadays, but wings are good. Many say Duffs are better, which is also pretty famous.

Any dive bar in Buffalo will make better wings than you'll find elsewhere.
