Trump or Roy...which one do you

That’s exactly how it works. Going back to the Border Wall shutdown, the TSA agents didn’t have money for petrol, they called in sick, Atlanta airport shut down, and they passed a funding bill that morning

It's not how it is suppose to work but if it does then we know Biden or whoever is running his Administration ordered it. Essential personal are to report for duty. It's in the SOP.

I'm team 2013 Trump

I still want a shutdown until Trump takes office. Then we'll see where he and DOGE really stand.

They can only make recommendations so everyone on TV is using faux outrage. Everyone still has to hold Politicians accountable. Especially those in Congress. They control the purse strings.

That didn't change. Opinion are just that as far as Musk and VR go.

You'll get your paycheck in a few weeks, simmer down.
I’m not worried about me, but how can you expect the TSA agents to confine to show up for work without money for gas and childcare? This model doesn’t work and it’s proven that it doesn’t work

Ask Biden about that fake issue. He's the one that needs to working on solving it.

Yup - Roy bucked the bull Trump wanted passed. Roy better get onboard and become a team player or get primaried

It's more than one guy. Those 38 Repubs probably assume they'll be primaried so they're free to buck Trump from here on out if they want.

Sounds good to me. The complete dismantling of cuckservativism into MAGAism to hand off to Vance in 2028 is great news.

What part of Trump wanted the original proposed Bill redone are you having a hard time with? They will work it out or the Government will be shut down until they do. In the meantime it's not that big of a deal and hardly the first time that it has happened.

By punting on the Debt Ceiling, the Dems will turn it into a massive issue - GOP will need Dem support to move forward-- and the asking price is going to be steep! Way to go Roy.....hope you're proud of yourself

Roy alone isn't the one that hasn't passed a budget since 1996.

I’m pretty sure this one has all the bullshit it in.

Well it definitely has some bullshit in it and now the New Congress will have to get busy once they get sworn in.

Notwithstanding significant progress over the last few days, I voted NO on H.R. 10545, the 3rd version of the government funding “CR.”

While it was a marked improvement on the 1,547 page “cramnibus” that was released earlier this week, it still included $110 billion in supplemental funding with no offsets or pay-fors, which I cannot support.

It is notable that our much derided efforts this week as “fiscal hawks” resulted in two important things: 1) avoiding $5 trillion being added to our existing $36 trillion national debt with zero spending cuts or structural reforms; but 2) delivering for President Trump a path to stop Chuck Schumer from abusing the debt ceiling to roil financial markets through a framework for substantial and necessary spending cuts.

Merry Christmas.

Roy is a fiscal conservative. If that's anti-Trump, that sounds like a you problem.

Sounds like it worked out like I predicted. Roy would get some cuts then everyone would vote on it. It's a big tent and fighting will occur. Now they all can huge it out and enjoy Christmas.
