So he was being honest , and that bothers you . I'm betting most business donate to both parties.
Right, you donate to the elected officials on both sides of the aisle because while they’re in office, donations are what gets you meetings. Meetings are what gets you support. Support is what gets you favorable legislation. Favorable legislation is what enables business opportunities and growth.
Businesses of $100m annual revenue or more likely donate. It doesn’t reflect the personal political ideals of the business. It doesn’t reflect it from the employees. It reflects a willingness to engage and try to further your goals which benefits the business and the employees.
What you’re basically telling me in this thread is that you were never a salaried position for a large corporation in your life or you worked for the Govt and you don’t understand how the real world of business works .
