The Governor is calling for heads to roll at Moo U so they can get back to "greatness". Not only does he want Doc Holliday fired, but also wants the school president and the AD responsible for hiring Holliday fired. Justice wants 73 year old Bob Pruett l to take over the reins.
I wonder if he realizes that their golden years were when they were playing at the 1-AA level, and I also wonder if he's forgotten that players were being handed $200 per day jobs while Pruett was the coach there.

I guess I take this story with a grain of salt since nobody is really talking about what went on behind closed doors....but like all MU Alumni I sense the frustration caused by our dismal 2016 showing in football since it was so unexpected. Losing to UNC-C in Huntington and also getting humiliated by WKU at the Joan is more than one can bear! But just running Doc and his staff off to hire to hire Bobby, who's a bit over the hill now just seems goofy to me!

With the condition our state is in, I'm dismayed that JJ spends even one second addressing Marshall football.

We've got big problems here.

This isn't the first time one of our Governors stuck their nose where it doesn't belong. Manchin causing his buddy Mike Garrison to be hired as WVU Prez and his influence in the Bill Stewart hire come to mind. Along with the Coal Bowl he practically forced on WVU and Marshall.

Justice should devote his time to solving the business of running the state and leave Marshall University alone.

Indeed , much bigger than college football and basketball with no easy solutions to be had...always been a poor state even when coal was going great guns but now looks difficult.
