I would have been more scared of PSU if they had the packed house under white out condition but what are going to be scrimmage like conditions, give me the more explosive team led by an explosive QB. Normally I don't bet against Air Force but as we've noted this ain't a normal year, Falcons got beaten by San Jose last week and di not look good in defeat essentially SJSU ran right over the top of them. GT against ND might be a good play, catch the Irish on the road maybe looking ahead yo their showdown with Clemson next week. Not bad, but as always, many concerns.
La Tech at home sounds good, but based on their effort at home against the Herd, I would worry a little about that one. Also, Air Force at home may give Boise all they can handle.
Two games I like this week:
Georgia Tech getting 20 against the Irish at home. (Reason being, I think Tech can score some points)
Penn State getting 12 against OSU at home. (PSU typically plays OSU close, but no fans at home gives me concerns)
I was going to like the Herd giving FIU a bunch of points too, but since they pulled a Huggins and swallowed the powder, then that took away what looked like a lock to me.
I think OSU is the better team ,play much better defense than the horns. But Herman could do a lot to save his job with a win, I agree with that. I don't think many coaches will get the axe in this COVID season but Herman could be the one!Texas might pull an upset vs. OSU Lite to save its season. Tom Herman has been horrible as a favorite, but very good as a 'dog. The Ohio State line opened at -8.5, but surged to almost -14 before dropping back down to -12. PSU would be the play, if it had a packed house and "white out," but without its normally raucous crowd, I'd stay away from that one.
