Honestly I couldn't stand to watch the whole thing but checked in every 5-10 minutes for an update! Very pleased to see the Marshall boys prevail!

They may have to stop playing WVU in soccer, since it's bad for the Herd's RPI. Nothing to gain for Marshall playing a lower level program like WVU. It's their world cup when they face the Herd in soccer, you know. Maybe, if they're interested in playing the national champs, Hamrick will give them a 3-1 deal.

That would be funny except playing WVU is better for their RPI than playing everyone in CUSA except Charlotte, but nice try.

Let’s not forget, Marshall did not win the state championship this year. MU is the second best team in West Virginia.

Seriously, like it or not, this is a big accomplishment and says a lot about timing, an investment in building a soccer complex and finding the right coach to lead their program. Makes you wonder what could they of had if they put their focus on baseball.

Outside of hintington everyone understands why we dont play.
