Herman is doing great at Houston in his first year. And Ohio State CLEARLY misses him this year.
I've not said Dana needs to go a single time during his tenure. He has raised recruiting. But he can't get a QB. He's an offensive specialist, but he can't call plays in crunch time to save his life.
Barring wins over TCU, Baylor, our remaining Big 12 games, and a bowl game, if we spot someone like Herman who we can bring in, let's do it. And hire someone who has at least one proven season of success as a head coach. NOT a coordinator.
