I can't wait to hear the ESPN excuses about the SEC losing some of those games yesterday. I've already heard the "don't panic, the SEC conference play will even out these early losses" and saying things like "a 2-loss SEC team may get in the playoff over a 1-loss other conference team". Bullcrap.....
You should've heard ESPN Jason Seahorn (sp?) this morning. He said, no way the Big 12 is in the playoff because they're best team Oklahoma lost. The big 12 is out. What an idiot. It's the 1st week of the season, but the Big 12 is out. Lol. Talk about a bias against the big 12.
If Oklahoma beats Ohio State, the trumpet will sound in the Sooners' direction. That's why TV sports analyists do, jump on the latest bandwagon. WVU benefitted from that when Geno had us 5-0. They had the Mountaineers as a super team and Geno as the leading Heisman candidate. When the freefall to 7-6 hit the fan, they switched to other "sure" things. It's the nature of the beast.
And if WVU loses to BYU, some on here will do a 180 turn, too.
I give Dana and WVU a B for their performances in the Missouri game. I give Tony Gibson an A- for rebuilding the defense so fast after the 2015 exodus to the NFL. Remarkable!

You're correct and I like your assessment Cuyahoga... Although WRs from Mizzou dropped balls and were open.. I felt we did pretty a good job defensively executing Coach Gibbys scheme.
Anthony, we also dropped three potential interceptions. Hit our players in the hands. And, Skylar overthrew a wide open White in the end zone. It could have been even worse for Missouri. We also had to settle for field goals in the red zone.
