Disappointing, but far from unexpected, team struggling in many areas. Got beat badly in just about every area by the visitors, with the exception of possibly turnovers. Still have people who are little or no threat offensively. Hard to play 3 against 5 in the half court offense.
Quite frankly .... Huggs' team have far too often been plagued with poor offensive play for years now. It's just so freaking frustrating to watch.
Sometimes I think our guys watch the Keystone Cops for inspiration on offense.
Huggs has a scripted response for his team's poor offensive play that he often uses, "..... need to spend more time in the gym."
There is no doubt that individual skills will improve when time is spent "in the gym." But there is no doubt in my mind that even if all the players spent more time in the gym that it would be no guarantee that we would necessarily play better on the offensive end.
But Huggs sacrifices some on offense in order to rebound and play defense.
