Don't care. Those idiots Californians are reaping what they sowed.Monday morning quarterbacks
How close to residential areas do recommend doing controlled burns?
Counselors are awaiting your call. I don't get the celebration of other people's deaths and property loss for any reason but in your case it's because of politics. You have some work to do. And irresponsible MAGA media encourages you to feel that way. It's all just sad. Such hate and contempt for people you don't even know. I'm sure a lot of MAGA folks lost their homes and belongings too.Don't care. Those idiots Californians are reaping what they sowed.
Remember how giddy you were every time an anti-vaxxer died of covid?
You should see the smile on my face right now.

When it comes to assessing the business impact of climate change, I’ve long looked to Spencer Glendon of Probable Futures. He’s an economist and former head of research at Wellington Management who argues that 12,000 years of climate stability have made us complacent and illiterate about climate change.
As Glendon noted in a commentary we ran last year, “the end of climate stability signals the end of the insurance market as we know it.” That’s because insurance doesn’t protect you against hazards. It’s a financial contract, based on pooled risk, that reimburses you if you’re among the unlucky ones to face a rare and predictable hazard.
When such hazards become unpredictable or heartbreakingly common, affecting everybody in the pool, the market structure crumbles along with the buildings they’re designed to protect.
It's not because of politics; rather it is people making stupid decisions (voting in these politicians with their retarded policies) then suffering the consequences of their decision. I call it poetic justice.Counselors are awaiting your call. I don't get the celebration of other people's deaths and property loss for any reason but in your case it's because of politics. Not everyone in California lives in an area near burning wildfires either. Not everyone in California voted for this. Even the ones that did are probably second guessing themselves right now. I don't know anyone who is taking pleasure from their suffering right now. You sound like controlled opposition with this take.

I enjoy watching people reap what they sow. I can't help it.I'm saying it's obvious the Leadership of California is horrible. Everyone understands there are lots of libs that put them in power. However most sane people can at least have empathy for them and hope they learn from this. Smiling about it makes you sound like Moe has his hand up your ass working you like a puppet master. Don't be Moe's bitch. Nobody says you have to have sympathy. Empathy shouldn't be that tough to muster though.

And I don't give a shit about anyone in LA, regardless whether their property is burning or not.
What's your plan? Here is Rogan from six months ago on his show saying how someone that knew about fires told him how someday LA is going to burn and they won't be able to stop it. Why can't the people that run LA figure this out?
My Plan: Not to vote for morons because they hate Trump and promote DEI.What's your plan?
It's sad that Calif thinks a 3" shit of a fish is more important than the residents and the property of the state of Calif.Counselors are awaiting your call. I don't need a plan because I'm not in charge of LA. If I was asking the public to put me in charge of LA, which is how the people in charge of LA got to be in charge of LA, I'd sure as hell have a plan for fire and everything else. What's your plan?

There is no such thing as man made climate change. Less than 5% of the entire surface is covered by man. The earth's orbit around the sun determines whether it's hot or cold. FYI, the south pole is building ice caps while the north is losing them. Take the money we waste on climate, DEi and BLM and put it into something constructive. When it comes to assessing the business impact of climate change, I’ve long looked to Spencer Glendon of Probable Futures. Water has been rerouted to help that fish.cool story
I thought that maybe you had a plan. The guy to told Rogan about the situation said there would be nothing that could be done if that happened. Nature is a powerful force and when the hurricane, major flood or fire with really high winds in very dry areas comes it is usually overwhelming. They should give you the job since you'll have a plan for next time.I don't need a plan because I'm not in charge of LA. climate change is determined by the sun, not man.Don't put all your stupidity out in one day, pace yourself.
I think it was pretty clearly implied by Rogan that there was nothing that could be done about the fire under the current circumstances and that consequently plans should be made to change that. He wasn't saying that no matter what anyone does, if a fire his the wrong way, we're screwed and we're helpless to ever change that.I thought that maybe you had a plan. I see you've put a lot of thought into this. Thanks for sharing your climate wisdom with the board.climate change is determined by the sun, not man.
That's exactly what he said. He said on a bad day and if it hits the wrong way, we are screwed. He wasn't saying that no matter what anyone does, if a fire his the wrong way, we're screwed and we're helpless to ever change that.

The problem with you leftist are you think that man, which covers no more than 5% of the total surface, can cause this problem. How many nukes would it take to melt the south pole?I see you've put a lot of thought into this. Thanks for sharing your climate wisdom with the board.
It's science not politics. We've been pumping CO2 into the atmosphere since the mid 1800s which has finally got to the point of tipping the climate out of equilibrium. Think how much pollution we've pumped into the atmosphere of the last 175 years or so and it's finally having a warming effect that will get warmer faster as it goes. There's lots of frozen methane in the melting permafrost ready to make it worse. What do you want to spend money on, trying to reduce greenhouse gasses or relocating all of the world's coastal cities to higher ground or trying to build sea walls around them? (or all 3?) Take your pick. Both are daunting tasks but folks now are concentrating on trying to fix the atmosphere (while planning for the others) which seems to me to be much cheaper, just reduce carbon emissions. It's a big long-term project, get on board. Amazingly enough Trump likes to lie about climate change. On the campaign trail, he said sea level rise is 1/8" in 400 years when it's 1/8"/year. That's a big lie but he doesn't tell little ones. Claim: “The ocean’s going to rise one-eighth of an inch over the next 400 years … and you’ll have more oceanfront property, right?” Surely there's a special place in hell for leaders who lie about important sh*t like that. The problem with you leftist are you think that man, which covers no more than 5% of the total surface, can cause this problem.
