Doesn't matter to me. And if I'm Dana, I wouldn't think twice. Lose this game and you're looking at least a 4 game losing streak. It's not like he had solid security anyways, his seat was already a little warm.

You kidding me? We could finish 4-8 and he'll be right there on the sideline next year. He ain't going nowhere!

Then we deserve misery, I suppose.

Fire Stewart for winning 9 games. But now winning 4 games is the norm. I let people use the excuse of having no depth, needing to get his own players, etc but it's been 5 years! 5 long years and no quarterback! For someone of his offense track record, you figure stud quarterbacks would be lining up to play for him. It's a joke. If WVU loses this game, they might not win 5 games this year. Texas Tech can put up points. Texas is a solid team who is better than their record. Kansas State and Snyder has had our number and that game is a night game in Manhattan. Lose tonight and winning 5 games looks like a real possibility.

I agree with this idea as a plan for the further of the program. That experience for potential starters is very valuable in an unsalvageable season. However, Dana has to think about his future and keeping this job could hinge on wins or strong showings. Howard is at best too inconsistent (as opposed to downright awful) to be a competitive Big XII QB and ANY improvement he makes throughout this season does not help the program's future one bit.
