They beat Arizona and lost by one point to Utah in Salt Lake City. They host UCLA next Saturday, before our showdown with them in two weeks.

Gibby is going to have to have the defense keep Taysom Hill contained as he reminds me of Klein from K-State four years ago?. Remember what Klein did to us as QB? Yeah... Led to K-State shredding us at home.

BYU will die off of several forced turnovers we can get from them... We seem to have a big problem in that department this season.

BYU likes to shut down running routes that go to the outside, but they have a hard time covering WR's for long passes. Hope Skylar can get some passes to Gibson, Shorts and White to keep their defense honest.

If we don't take this game seriously, we're going to have a long night and may come out 2-1 in OOC play.

If we win, it will be within a 3 point margin... otherwise, they may beat us by 7 - 10 if it goes the other way.

BYU is playing 4 straight P5 with 3 on the road and we are game 4 I think 2 time zones ahead. We also have2 weeks to prepare. If our game is a noon kickoff (hoping for), we win pretty easy provided we don't go nuts and turn the ball over.

I think That Utah loss could have taken their fight last night. Why they went for 2 on a qb draw with Utah blitzin I dont know.

Byu was handed 6 turnovers and failed to win. Grambling took Arizona to the 4th quarter. The Byu game won't be the easiest but they haven't shown anything to date that makes them look like a serious top 25 contender.

They are as big a question as we are except our wrs group is very very good. Shorts and Gibson can't be stopped

The BYU fans complained about how bad Ute fans were, when it came to rudeness and poor behavior. But, those LDS boys can be rather rowdy and dirty themselves.

The Mountaineers can certainly win this one, but bear in mind that it is effectively BYU's audition game for Big 12 membership. This game means nearly as much to them as the Oklahoma game did to Houston. We will get their best shot.

There will be no BYU in expansion. Heck there may not even be an expansion. Smoke and Mirrors by Big 12.

BYU better than Missouri on offense. Not as good as Missouri on defense. Heck I think YSU would give them a game.

I seriously doubt WVU is taking BYU lightly.

Well based on what I saw vs the Utes with numerous opportunities they were anemic....and agreed however WVU is not taking these guys lightly...they play dirty ball...

WVU has more talent overall. If the BYU people read Boren's comments today, they have to wonder if Houston played their way out of Big 12 contention. Link Mr. gung ho expansion is now saying it's just a maybe .

If this was all for nothing despite the media attention on it, the Big 12 is going to look a tad silly. If we expand for now, it should be just two. Otherwise, we should have never entered the door labeled "expansion room" and then (at the last minute) decide to walk back out saying, "oh... never mind".

As long as we have a shot at the playoff's, I am good staying at 10. Otherwise, let's grab two more and be done with this. This mind game of rumors is starting to get really old and leaving candidate schools hanging makes us look bad. Honestly, it looks more and more like they either don't know what they are doing... or, they can't make up their minds.

Boren is a dickhead.

He was born in DC, Yale grad, and thinks he's the smartest fella in room. His pompous, elitist personality does not serve him as well as he thinks it does.
