First, the backstory -
A group of 8 of us went up to pittsburgh this past weekend for an AirBnB weekend, first and foremost to see Stevie Nicks at PPG Friday night...good Lord - WOOD. She has STILL got it.
Saturday night, we decided to venture over to Howl at the Moon for some sightseeing and general debauchery. Now, if you haven't been to Howl at the Moon before, I highly recommend it. Cool place, dueling pianos, but the house band takes requests and does a phenomenal job of keeping everyone moving. Good entertainment and the place was packed.
We ended up running into some other WVU fans there, who were having a great time as well...when one of our party says let's request Sweet Caroline.
Howl at the Moon is located on 7th street, right in the heart of downtown...and yes, we saw a few pitt hats and shirts.
Didn't matter.
The guy singing the song actually stopped in the middle of it, as you'll see in the video below, and says, "It sounds like we have a house divided" because the Eat $hit Pitt chants were much louder than the weak "Let's Go pitt" chants they were attempting.
So he says, "You just have to be louder than the other team...". We were outnumbered, we have a couple of pitt women(?) flipping us off...but, in the heart of downtown pittsburgh, we represented, especially on the 2nd opportunity to out-yell them...that's me on the right side of the stage with the beard and skullcap, along with a few of my EGGFORCE 1 tailgate buddies.
This would NEVER happen in Morgantown. Credit to my awesome bride for capturing the video for us.
