One thing that really irks me is weaponizing our justice institutions against a political opponent, drag him before a judge who is totally biased in a stacked court, declare him guilty - knowing full well it will all have to be overturned after the election, then get up in a presidential debate and smugly proclaim that he is a "convicted criminal." That part of it should bother all of us. This is the kind of things that are done in Venezuela, Cuba, and Bolivia.
