Is your daughter still in a public school ? If so, smells like a valid lawsuit to me.

The severity of that action makes me expect to see this on the news tomorrow.

Pride and humility smile in the face of arrogance...gold and blue will ALWAYS be...It will be rough (for you so close particularly) , but we'll be back...

Anecdotal at best. Most UK fans are good people and show a lot of respect to the other teams and fans. I've been to games at Rupp when they actually clap for another team's good play.

You can doubt his story all you want, so do I. But we both know Kentucky fans are FAR from being known to show respect to opposing teams and fans. And that's not necessarily a slight to you. Most fans are, at best, coldly indifferent to the opposition. Unless you're Nebraska, no school has any ground to stand on when speaking of the hospitality of their respective fan bases.

Let's be real, WVU and UK have reps for having asshole fans. Can't really blame them. There aren't many places that get shit on as much nationally than WV and KY.

It happened. Don't really care if you believe it or not. no problems though. Things always come full circle.

They are a Cult. Someone else pointed it out earlier in a thread. Most obnoxious and arrogant fanbase in all of sports.

Being in a room filled with 100% CO is more enjoyable than being in a room with UK fans.

Ky folk love basketball. Hope WV can make it back to the sweet 16 and play somebody else. 10 point win is all i hoped for. Shucks fellers i got a grandson brought home today. Cant believe how much better he id than a ky win and i love ky.

JJ, if your daughter was forcibly placed in front of a UK poster and forced to hold a uk jersey for pictures to be posted on social media (personal FB pages? School page or twitter?), then this should not be ignored. I'm comprehending this to be terrible. Trying to remove yourself from the situation, was it done in good humor?

Because, man, if it was done maliciously, I suspect you'll have quotes published on national news sites and papers.

Oh my gosh beer be like your hof coach and show class. Its obvious you have never been to rupp. Stand and clapped with 20,000 other fans whoo appreciated good and hard play. The girl holding up a sign is not good but thats a couple idiots. UK; players cant help crap like that. UK players are first class kids who have a shot at history. you all need to listen to huggins after the game First class all the way Smartest man in the state of wv by a mile. WV will return good next year. Okay now trash ashley judd but be proud not bitter.

..at the irony of WVU bashing the class of UK fans. OTIS does this also.

I'm not sure it's lawsuit worthy but the action should be brought to school officials. Sounds like your daughter, for lack of a better term was shamed...or bullied by her own teachers.

Posting it on social media is cyber bullying. The teacher will say it was a joke, for sure - but that's the excuse all bullies make.

Take a screen shot of the Facebook page, and if your daughters feelings were hurt, I'd most definitely pursue disciplinary action against the teacher.

It's all fine. The picture upset me. I'm over it now. I wouldn't have done that, but others are different. I was pretty fired up last night. Dead issue today. I don't do social media. Wife does. Guess it was an inside joke between her and the teacher she's friends with. Getting the full story this morning. Not as bad as originally thought.

Someone who constantly makes racist and homophobic rants telling someone else to "show class"?!? Quite hypocritical, wouldn't you say?
