I remember this board usually being all a buzz before the first game of the season. Understandable given the outlook for the first game looks grim.

Fans who aren't delusional realize how far the program has fallen...how mediocre the program has become...and how totally unimportant a football game is.
I do love reading your posts. And I think the post is correct but I can’t help it. I still get excited and lately have been disappointed very early in the season.
That's because the free board is dead...thats what the people that run the place wanted...and they got it.
This is the least excitement for a season opener that I can remember ever, but somehow I've managed to get pretty pumped to watch the game tomorrow, even with the odds against us. Im most interested to see if we will be able to run on PSU. Is our OL finally going to live up to coaches hype? We will see.....
I'm also excited for a new season. Given current situation I wonder how I'll feel at the midway point of the first quarter.
Hopefully we will all be surprised. We will know for sure tomorrow around 8:15pm.
Sure...don't worry locust..i've never seen a WVU team with a good offensive line that wasn't a good football team..

If the WVU defense can stop PSU from making big plays. I could see a path to victory. Run it down their throats. They have a bunch of undersized DL. When they fall behind? Franklin prefers going for home runs vs grinding it out. Best of luck.
