team we've ever fielded, but they do have a lot of heart and fight in them....

We may lose a few, but we're going to be a tough out.

Reminds me NOTHING of his teams. This team plays some defense.
The only semblance of the two are the players are free to shoot without the repercussion of being pulled out of the game which Huggs always did.

I disagree on the defense comments. We have some players that are very good defensively but I'm not sold on the defensive schemes. We also have some players that are good with going up for blocks and did a great job last night. I don't see much doubling down and I don't see the best blocking out on the boards. I think there is room to improve on both of those aspects.

With that comment, I wasn't necessarily responding directly towards you. Others have been impressed with the defense as well without the word of some and I expressed my pov.

Now my comment of what is similar between DeVries and Beilein in allowing the players some freedom to shoot is in response to your opinion. I'm not saying you are completely wrong but there is a little bit of being similar in that aspect in my opinion.

I agree on the freedom to shoot. One of my biggest problems with Huggins (who I still love and is my all-time favorite coach) was his quick hook for players. Now certain players were able to shrug it off and continue, while many could not. It took Daxter Miles a couple years to be able to do that. And he turned out to be a great one.
