I guess all the Bullshit we see on the backs of NFL helmets EVERY week is OK.

TAMPA, Florida -- San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa was fined $11,255 by the NFL for wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat during a postgame interview last month, a league source told ESPN.
According to league rules, players are prohibited from displaying a personal message or non-sponsored branding "at any point throughout a game day when visible at the stadium and TV audience, including postgame interviews in the locker room or on the field."

But it's ok to take a knee during playing the National Anthem... Well GOD Bless America I'll quit watching...

Not agreeing with anyone, BUT you are leaving out that players get fined because their socks don't reach their knees, or they wear "uncertified" cleats. But if you want to make it all political, go ahead.

My point is that all articles MUST have the "NFL" stamp before wearing it on the field.

Uniform
Foreign Substances on Body/Uniform $5,628 $11,255
Chin Straps/Shoulder Pads/ Thigh, Knee Pads/ Over Built Facemask $5,628 $11,255

Unauthorized Logo/ Branding or Intellectual Property $11,255 $22,511

Did they have Harris/Walz stickers on the back of helmets?

He wasn't wearing it on the field. That was made pretty clear yet somehow you missed it.

Umm. He was still representing team apparel on the field when he crashed the interview.

You must not follow NFL much. Pregame players have to tape the brand names of their headphones to prevent fines if it isn’t one of the NFL sponsor brands.

You would have a valid argument if you could provide evidence of when a player wore a political sponsorship and was not fined. Focus on finding that, then your claims are supported.

I NEVER made it political....The NFL did.
I suggest you watch some NFL postgame interviews today and then get back to us and report how many of these strict "NFL Rules" are followed...Laughable.

Another far left nut telling people to "fight".

I disagree with what the NFL did...you trying to tell me that I am wrong?

Show me proof of where they did not fine someone who endorsed Harris.

As for their rules, there have been DOZENS of fines for violation of "uniform policies". Dude, seriously, you are making this a situation and it isn't. For F**KS sake, they fined Kaepernick the same for wearing Dre Beats during PRE-GAME.

Rule 5, Section 4, Article 8
"The League will not grant permission for any club or player to wear, display, or otherwise convey messages, through helmet decals, arm bands, jersey patches, mouthpieces, or other items affixed to game uniforms or equipment, which relate to political activities or causes, other non-football events, causes or campaigns, or charitable causes or campaigns."

Dude...I NEVER said a word about anyone endorsing Harris...where did you come up with that? I believe players should be allowed to express their opinions...that is my broader point...does that help you out. I just don't like the NFL picking a choosing...make all statement wrong OR none.

You keep saying "picking and choosing". That's my point. Where are they "picking and choosing"? They fined Kaepernick over headphones, they fined Tyreke Hill for socks, they fined Bosa for a hat. Seems pretty cut and dry and NOT "picking and choosing".

Those statements on the back of their helmets are not political. I know you claim they are, but the word "equality", "end racism", isn't political.

If you could provide where the NFL "chose" not to fine a player for a political message while "choosing" to fine Bosa, then I would agree 1000% with your point. Until then, you are just being woke. :joy:

Dude, do you seriously want to go there?

"We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore" - I think you know who said it.
Dude...It was sarcasm...but I do remember that just a few weeks and months ago when Trump mentioned "fight" that he was trying to incite violence. You recall what the media and politicians said Trump was trying to incite when he rose up after he was shot in Butler PA ?

Those statements on the back of their helmets are not political. I know you claim they are, but the word "equality", "end racism", isn't political.
We all believe in "equality" and we need to "end racism". However...BLM references ARE political.

The NFL is not "picking a choosing", they're being consistent. Don't you MAGA types ever tire of being the victim?

I disagree. It's not the same as "MAGA", which is tied to a specific political candidate. That's where it violated the rule I put in my reply. Chill out some. You are making this a bid deal, and it isn't.

You are the one that elevated this...not me. I stated an opinion and you choose to respond. I respect that you disagree.

I'm not arguing anything. Just pointing out in your haste to argue a liberal point, you missed a pretty simple and straightforward fact.

And since you asked, players weren't fined for sporting Black Lives Matters slogans. Again, you missed a basic fact.

1. I'm not arguing any "liberal point". I'm arguing against your point that Bosa was "treated differently" when the facts are, that I have presented, that he was treated the same as another LIBERAL player who wore headphones that were not NFL sponsors (Kaepernick).

2. BLM is a slogan that may be considered "liberal", but it isn't connected directly to a political person or candidate like "MAGA" is. Now if the BLM had "Vote Democrat", then I'd agree with you. But everyone knows that "MAGA" is Donald Trump, and the NFL has stated in their rules about political promotion in uniform.

Again, it isn't my fault that you guys are getting woke over this. It is a big nothing burger. The NFL has rules, like them or not, and they issued punishment that is on par with others who get fined for wearing unsanctioned shoes, socks, headphones, or any other products of promotion.

I didn’t say anything about Bosa. I don’t care what the nfl does. I don’t know why you think I am arguing anything.

It doesn’t matter what excuse you use. Players were not fined for sporting blm, a political slogan.

It is fun putting holes in all your nonsense.

Read.....their......rules.......PLEASE. Good grief.

BLM is NOT considered tied to a POLITICAL CANDIDATE or promoting/influencing votes for a particular candidate, while MAGA is 100% tied to a political candidate.

This really is pretty easy to understand. But your refusal to open your mind and read their rules is the problem.

I have used factual evidence to support the NFL stance, while you guys are using emotion.

Right. The nfl wrote its rules to allow some political speech and not other speech which happens to be speech it disagrees with. Glad we cleared that up.

It’s the same thing Twitter and Facebook did

BLM isn't considered "political influence". You still don't understand.

Is that why its leaders have been to the White House and countless governors mansions to discuss policy?

It is absolutely political influence. The nfl just doesn’t consider it political influence so its idiots can prance around the field with blm and face no fines.

This really isn’t that complicated.

I would think our friend MountaineerWV knows that the BLM is absolutely all about exerting political influence. But the NFL and the NBA can decide who and what they allow and support.

Your argument is not very sound and has many holes in it. But I think you already know this, but are just too emotional to admit it right now.

Why did the NFL BAN players from having All Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter messages on the back of their helmets ? And yes...it did happen.

Your response fails to include anything substantive. Noted. You lose. Just like last Tuesday

Keep digging in. Dude, seriously, I have provided all evidence and facts to show that the NFL has done everything by the book. Even showed where they fined ultra liberal players for violations. You guys want to focus on hypotheticals and your own emotions. That’s the holes.

BLM isn't considered "political influence". You still don't understand.

You doing ok until you said that BLM wasn't a political movement. Other than that everyone should follow the rules or pay the fine.
