You know my stance. Basketball every year in Charleston period. Also, why not football every 4 or 5 years get together and play. Like it or not, for one reason or another, WVU Marshall is not Georgia vs Georgia Tech or UCLA vs USC or Alabama vs Aurburn. So that is why not going every year. The last series there were tickets returned from Marshall and a few empty seats. The interest faded as the series moved on locally. I doubt that the nation paid attention to the games from the beginning. Well that is with the exception of a few Big 10 , Pitt panther and Texas fans.

I went to pick up a friend who was being recruited to play basketball at Grenville in the 80-81 season. Several people were sitting around in a lobby watching a WVU basketball game.
