Much more read worthy than most of the drivel you share with us.
I'm not sure why the link wouldn't post. Regardless, it was about the best NCAA football team in each state. To nobodies surprise, Herd is top dog in WV.

Excerpt:

West Virginia: Marshall -- WVU is a good team, don't get us wrong, but it's hard to argue with Marshall's success under Doc Holliday, particularly the last few years. He and the Herd have amassed a 33-8 record with a 10-3 mark in 2015. Meanwhile, Dana Holgorsen and the Mountaineers are 36-28 since his arrival with a 8-5 record one season ago. The Herd are Thundering through the state right now.

Which Journalism student at Marshall penned that gem?
Nobody in their right mind believes Marshall is better than WVU.
In the last 6 years, since 2010, Doc's tenure, you all are 3-7 against P5 teams. You played one P5 team last year, Purdue, and you didn't play a single P5 team in 2014.

Sadly, they included the drunk's record his first year which was in the Big Least, using all of Doc's recruits. Eliminate those stats and the results are even more grim....

26-25 overall record
15-21 LOSING conference record

But the Ears are supposedly "competing" in the Big XII and somehow "upper middle of the pack."

Hahahaha!! What a joke.

You were doing OK with the blank screen, you should have stopped there.

How that should have read -

WVU is a good team, don't get us wrong, but Marshall under Doc Holliday has built a 33-8 record against one of the most laughable schedules among FBS programs. Meanwhile, Dana Holgersen and the Mountaineers are 36-28 since his arrival against a schedule that consistently ranks near the top in terms of Strength of Schedule. The Herd are Thundering all over the smack boards making fools of themselves right now.

Hey, don't be upset with me. I'm simply posting the results from a reputable site. It's possible you could find a different result. Have you checked out 'The Smoking Musket' yet?

C'mon guys, down deep we all knew that.

While the facts are on our side we know that MU wins on emotion alone.

That 12-0 record in head-to-head competition is relatively meaningless because we all know, as MU'ers say, Marshall woulda won every single game played in years that we didn't play.

Just ask them.

A better question is have you checked this site out ?

Absorb the information (or have someone explain it to you very slowly), pay particular attention to 0-12, and then come back and tell us how Marshall is the best team in WV.

Yale used to be the best team in CT back in the 40's. Not positive, but I believe Washington & Lee used to be the top dog in Virginia many decades ago.

2016, after back to back to back, the New Flagship is placed upon the fireplace mantle.

Like I said before, whenever you post a blank screen your drivel has some credibility. The rest of the time you make yourself look stupid. 0-12 7-38

Clearly reading comprehension is still a struggle for you folks. It doeant matter about 0-12 or P5 records. What

What matters is the currently, and currently CBS Sports say Marshall is the best team in the state. And the way your offense preformed and your star linemen getting drunk and flipping his car during camp, I dont anyway WVU can be better than Marshall. Your program has no locker room leadership and the offense sucks ass.

I'm not the least bit surprised that the opinion of one writer is more valuable to you than 104 years of historical records..... . Whenever 0-12 and 7-38 enters the conversation you can always count on the Herdiots to start climbing out of the woodwork.

Lots of Kelly Green showing up in them 'dar hills. (no offense Cat)

1) Try using English next time.

2) When you can consistently handle the Ohio Us and Middle Tennessees of the world, let us know and we'll have an intelligent conversation about who is the best team in the state.

Despite the facts, you've got me convinced.

Like I said reading comprehension isnt your thing. The article is about the current season and who is the best team heading into the 2016 season.

WVU will suck ass this year while Marshall will be heading towards another 10 win season.

Morgan St. - W (congratulations on beating a nobody)
Akron - L
Louisville - L
Pitt - toss up, leaning toward an L
North Texas - W
FAU - W
Charlotte - W
Southern Miss - toss up, I'll give you the W
ODU - W
Middle Tenn - toss up, I'll give you the W
FIU - W
WKU - after playing 11 games with no off week and a very young/inexperienced D, you'll have an L

That makes you 8-4 with no real quality wins. Congrats on the 8-4 season.

having TCU in Texas and Michigan in Michigan and Pitt in Pennsyltucky...

lol...what a joke

the two idiots that put this together went to school @ Georgia State & UNC...
one writes about the Atlanta Hawks and the other writes for 'The Hoop Doctors'...
easy to see they know nothing about college football...

It is really hard to get past that #236 ranked schedule. Even Chucky gets it. The turd fans would rather play the worst schedule in the land and crow about their 10 wins over the sisters of mercies of the world. No way will MVU see 10 wins this year. 12-0 because on field results do matter.

herdiots, this will be the highlight of your season, better enjoy it...

you mooooers will 2-0 before the Summer ends and 2-2 by the first of October and your season will be over in less than seven weeks from now... lol

I'm guessing your OT with over Kent St. and the fact you played Ohio and Middle Tennessee and WKU tough in losses really impressed them.

Thanks again for proving to us what a moron you are.

"WVU is a good team, don't get us wrong, but it's hard to argue with Marshall's success under Doc Holliday, particularly the last few years."

You should demand a refund from Marshall; they cheated you on your education. Please keep telling us how we struggle with reading comprehension.

The Ears are mad as HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!! The truth is often a bitter pill to swallow.
Mad? We have played MVU 12 times without a lose. 4 years ago we beat MVU by 35 points. If we played the turds this year it would be another in a long line of beat downs. The truth is MVU is WVU's bitch and because that is such a bitter pill to swallow you cling to what ever moral victory your feeble minds can come up with. It would be comical if it weren't so pathetic and sad.

LMAO, just saw this same article posted on Facebook. Ears are livid. Livid, I tell you.

Get back to us when ESPN Gameday comes to Huntington.
Get back to us when Doc appears on ESPN Sportscenter.
Get back to us when you beat a Top 25 team.
