"His arrest follows just weeks after one million hacked files from the Israeli government were circulating on Telegram. The group behind the released documents, DDoSecrets, was banned on Telegram shortly after their release.
These documents revealed that the Israeli government sought legal advice on how to avoid registering under the US Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which requires the disclosure of foreign-backed lobbying campaigns.
The documents show that Israeli officials proposed creating a new American nonprofit to continue their activities in the US while avoiding scrutiny under the law.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov was released from police custody in France on Wednesday and transferred to court for questioning ahead of a possible indictment, prosecutors told CNN, days after his dramatic arrest at a Paris airport.

Bail was set at about $5.5 million, and Durov was released but ordered to check in at a police station twice a week, Laure Beccuau, the Paris prosecutor, said per the Times.
The Paris prosecutor's office had said in a statement Wednesday that Durov was released from custody but would be transferred to court for his first appearance before a judge ahead of a possible indictment, AP reported.
The French investigative judge placed him under formal investigation, preventing him from leaving France, per Reuters.

According to the United States Department of Justice, 34-year-old Dallas Humber of Elk Grove, California and 37-year-old Matthew Allison of Boise, Idaho were leaders of the Terrorgram Collective. The DOJ classifies Terrorgram as a transnational terror group.
The Justice Department announced today that Dallas Humber, 34, of Elk Grove, California, and Matthew Allison, 37, of Boise, Idaho — leaders of the Terrorgram Collective, a transnational terrorist group — were charged with a 15-count indictment for soliciting hate crimes, soliciting the murder of federal officials, and conspiring to provide material support to terrorists. Humber and Allison were arrested on Friday by law enforcement officials.
“Today’s indictment charges the defendants with leading a transnational terrorist group dedicated to attacking America’s critical infrastructure, targeting a hit list of our country’s public officials, and carrying out deadly hate crimes — all in the name of violent white supremacist ideology,” said Attorney General Merrick B.
