IMO, The next head coach needs to be a great OC with a high scoring offense. The B12 is just too hard on defenses. Ask Gary Patterson. B12 broke him.
Neal Brown thought he could win in the B12 with ball control and great defense, trying to win games low scoring 20-17. All that did was put WVU in the lower half of the B12 with losing record in B12 and .500 play overall.
The two most exciting offenses have been RR's spread option 2002-2007 and Dana's air raid 2011-2018 that featured a strong run game.
We need to get back to that. Neal's offense makes me puke most of the time. And his defenses are even worst.
