the more encouraged I get about our receiver depth. Jennings, White, & Durante appear to be getting the Coaches' attention, and competing for legitimate playing time. It's apparently now all a matter of reps and familiarity with what we're trying to do.
But what really excites me is Holgs talking about moving Shorts back into the slot--or using him wide. Then putting Crest under center so he can get more comfortable slingin' the pill! We have that luxury now with the emergence of the newcomers. That only has to help Gibson too, since the Defense can't key on just him. If we can get these Freshmen up to speed with our routes, and schemes--gotta think by mid season we could be very lethal or at least effective moving the ball.
Add to that what is expected to be a pretty stout D, and what's not to like about the '15 version of our team?
