2015 finish @ 10-3 SoS 138th
2014 finish @ 13-1 SoS 124th ECU left, Tulane left, Tulsa left
2013 finish @ 10-4 SoS 122nd UCF left, Houston left, Memphis left, SMU left,
2012 finish @ 5-7 SoS 104th
2011 finish @ 7-6 SoS 56th
2010 finish @ 5-7 SoS 91st
2009 finish @ 7-6 SoS 86th
2008 finish @ 4-8 SoS 77th
2007 finish @ 3-9 SoS 73rd
2006 finish @ 5-7 SoS 88th
2005 finish @ 4-7 SoS 86th the moooooooooo joins CUSA

Well, there's the correlation for the mooooooooo's change in wins, just look at the departing schools and the change in number of wins which also corresponds to the rise in the SoS.

It's right there, plain as day.

On May 4, 2012, these schools accepted an invitation to join Conference USA beginning with the 2013–2014 season.
North Texas,
Florida International University,
Louisiana Tech University, the
University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and the
University of Texas at San Antonio

Conference USA responded by adding
Middle Tennessee and
Florida Atlantic, both from the Sun Belt.
On April 1, 2013, Conference USA announced they were adding
Western Kentucky, also from the Sun Belt

On July 1, 2014, Old Dominion football joined Conference USA

that's NINE NEW lower division schools added since 2013...

ANYONE in CUSA that compares themselves to another FCS league is a joke.

and you greeenie pukes that try to compare ANYTHING cusa to the BIG12...

Well, you're FoS... and you know it.

FIU is the largest university in South Florida, the 2nd-largest in Florida, and the 4th-largest in the United States. ...and they will eventually OWN CUSA., it's just a matter of time.

Even better, they lost THREE games against the #138 ranked schedule.

L.O.L.

They beat one team that finished the season with a winning record, 9-5 So.Miss. The only other teams on their schedule that finished the year with winning records were all losses for the Herd. That's how you get the 138th strength of schedule ranking.

How is it even possible to have a schedule ranked #138 in FBS?

I'd be humiliated if I were a Herd fan.

It's almost as bad as this:

and you never delivered.

And Doc will still reward them with a 25th place vote if they beat East Maine Tech Institute State in the Beef O Brady's Bowl after going 7-5......back to back to back humiliations.

Let's look at their body of work from last season

Herd wins with their opponents W-L in parenthesis

Purdue (2-10)
Norfolk St. (4-7)
Kent St. (3-9)
Old Dominion (5-7)
So. Miss. (9-5)
Florida Atlantic (3-9)
North Texas St. (1-11)
Charlotte (2-10)
Florida International (5-7)
UCONN (6-7)

Herd losses

Ohio U (8-5)
Middle Tennessee St. (7-6)
Western Kentucky (12-2)

10-3 with one win against a team that finished the season with a winning record, and all three losses to teams that finished the year with winning records.
138th ranked strength of schedule.
And Doc still gives them votes in the coaches poll.

Beating the number 4 team in the country isn't delivering? Has Marshall ever beaten the #4 team in the country? Hell, have they ever even played the #4 team in the country?

There's more than one game in a season, bruh. Sorry, but that was a stupid comment. You can rest your laurels on an upset of one team if you like, but you'll remain the homecoming queen of the Big XII by doing so

2012
WVU 70 - #25 Baylor 63
WVU 48 - #11 Texas 45

2013
WVU 30 - #11 Ok State 21

2014
WVU 41 - #4 Baylor 27

Four wins over top 25 teams in the last four years. When was the last team you all beat a ranked team?

I know, you guys are the flagship though, CBS told us you were better and you all got a vote.

No major bowls, a losing conference record and only one win above 0.500 overall record.

Tell me more about how Big Things are Coming...

We just won a really nice bowl that had a really nice payout. Herd's bowl payout, not enough to cover travel expenses.

The conversation is about whether WV(u) has ever delivered on those "big things" since joining the Big XII.

I am simply asking for proof, but I see you don't want to discuss that.
Someone has already addressed that with 4 top 25 wins since joining the conference. That would be more than MVU could claim since moving up to FBS football. I think smack board rules allow you to talk smack on a posters team. That is why it is called a smack board.

So, now it's all about a handful of upsets vs actually accomplishing something for a season?

You guys keep dancing around the facts: LOSING conference record and 26-25 OVERALL record. My how WV(u) has fallen. Used to be you guys could brag about 3-way ties (even posted banners for them) and a few BCS bowls. No you're tickled shitless to have a losing conference record and damn near a losing overall record.

WVU fans talking about beating four, top 25 teams.

Marshall fans talking about going 9-3 with ONE of the nine wins against a team with a winning record and the losses include Ohio U and Middle Tennessee. [laughing]

"Big Things Are Never Going To Arrive"
So WVU not having won a B12 championship in the short time we have been there, not counting any of our big wins, means we have been a bust.....ok, I get it.

However, Moo winning CUSA once against stiffs that could make a morgue smell like roses means you are a bigger success than WVU, even though you have ZERO big eins,,,,ever.

This is like arguing with Beetlejuice or Wendy the slow adult.

Hey, can some of you guys in Morgantown ship a big case of Preparation H to Huntington? This is one huge butt-hurt town. Twice this week, the DJs on 97.1 have made derogatory comments about WVU. I'm done listening to that station. I can't stand the whining. They'll be rooting for Missouri tomorrow, lol. I think they care more about WVU losing than Marshall winning.

We also beat MVU for the 12th straight time. No that really doesn't count as we always beat you.

Three BCS wins (not just going there) is a damn big deal and only a handful of teams in the country can say they accomplished that. How many BCS bowl games did MVU play in? How many ranked teams have you beat in the last 4 years? How many top 50 teams did you beat last year? The answer is the same as the number of times MVU has beaten WVU. None Zero nada.

Great first paragraph to sum up the greenies point of view. They have that 'give it to me without my earning it' mentality. Thus, they believe because we have been in the B12 for 4 years and have not overwhelmed the league we are failures. They expect things handed to them. They need to learn it doesn't work that way.

138th SoS last year is all I need to see to know where the moooooo belongs...
