coached team playing a more talented team. I thought at halftime the Mounties had seized control of the game in spite of squandering first half scoring opportunities. Howard should sue the WVU WR corps for non-support.I question the 2nd half play calling by HOGO. But the scrappy team beat the better team...happens every Saturday!

Howard was actually pretty solid ... put the ball where it needed to be but nobody would catch the damn thing.

The play calling ... I don't know how many times I said "what in the hell are you doing?" 1st down run for 7 or 8 yards, and then 2 incomplete passes (one well defended, the other dropped) and then punt, over and over again. It was maddening.

I didn't think Howard played bad except for taking the ball out of the belly of the back and trying to get outside on the 4th down play at midfield, guess he thought the end had crashed down to hard and he could get outside bad wheel and all. The WVU recievers need to catch the ball as you suggested!

Mounties were very effective when they went fast after Smallwood would break a run, the slant was there all night and was the only ball the wideouts could seem to catch.
