Sounds like a smoke & mirrors campaign to hide the overwhelming underperformance of only 1 conference championship in 10 years and a SOS constantly in the triple digits.
No worse than 6-6 for the Cousins but most likely 7-5...get's 'em in a bowl game.
Do think the Herd will win 8 this year? You have 7 teams ranked 96th or worse but will have to beat that number 79th team to get to 8. Could be tough.

It would appear that many of our friends from up North are having reading issues once again. NEW flagship. That ship began sailing in 2013, and pollsters have agreed...back to back to back.

Yet in 2012 WVU beat you 69-34 even with pulling the first stringers after 3 quarters. As was predicted by many, the MVU fans would claim they are better than us when we stop playing. So when the village idiot acts stupid we set back and laugh as we all saw this coming. 0-12 despite your stupidity and Doc's votes. Looking forward to the Michigan, Eastern Michigan and the Ohio State, Cincinnati game this year.
I realize, based on your postings, that you know little about sports, so I'll help you out here a bit. First of all, Michigan will be playing in-state rival Michigan State, so like you, I'll be looking forward to that game. Additionally, looking forward to Florida-Florida State, Auburn-Alabama, Pitt-Penn State, Colorado State-Colorado, Va Tech-Virginia, and many, many others across this great nation of ours. Too bad you boys took the powder. I think you boys could have kept it close, maybe only losing by 10-14 points.
With exception of one of the quoted games, they are all conference games inside P5 conferences. Most would have us at +14 points last year but I believe it would have been another in a long line of three touchdown victories for WVU. This year we would post the speed limit in kilometers on you.

You realize the CUSA is the worst conference in the country. MVU is 54-38 in conference games. On the surface that looks respectful. But they are 20-4 since expansion gutted the conference and were 30-34 prior to expansion. Keep in mind CUSA was never a great conference but when they were decent MVU struggled. According to the WP preseason rankings, MVU plays 6 teams ranked 96th or worse and 1 FPS team. Only two teams were rated in the top 50. There is no wonder why your strength of schedule is ranked in the bottom 10 every year. Congrats on getting wins over the sisters of the poor. Must make you proud. 0-12

Funny if we are a failure what does that make MVU. You are 0-12 against us after all. The computers had MVU ranked anywhere from 10 to 30 places behind WVU last year. We will be just fine but perhaps you should worry about MVU. Play nobody, beat nobody and get nothing for TV. Not much of a future in that.
Mighty Marshall annually owned by Ohio, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky but deserves to be mentioned as one of the big boys.

the difference here is that you will find among those rivalry games you mentioned that one team does not have administrators and coaches who make fools of themselves by issuing proclamations and "doctrines" while wearing chicken suits and t-shirts with the state map on it under a sport coat(and you all make fun of huggins pull over.).... Also please note that among those aforementioned games that BOTH teams have actually won games in the rivalries......I repeat....to be a "rival" you actually have to win a game once in a while...to win you have to play....to play you must show respect......marshall has done none of those......hence no play no rivalry
hey, at least the mighty herd has scheduled 2 P5 teams this year. too bad it won't really matter after going 0 and 2 in those games. should've stuck to scheduling all patsies versus all but 2. after losing to a decent P5 team and a bad one, the poor herd won't sniff the top 25. good luck with the bears, zips, 49ers, owls, and monarchs, though! sounds like some tough ones!

This year, WVU will be ranked 30 spots ahead of you by the computers again. Perhaps Doc will vote for MVU, so you can hang another "received votes banner". I don't have to live in the past. It does not matter when we play you or in what sport, the results will always be the same, another in a long line of beat downs.
