Playing MiamiOH, Kent, and the rest of those teams ranked between 110 and 150 so the Herd can get 6 wins to be bowl eligible and having the 8,500 or so mouthbreathing Herd fans believe they have a good team. However, someone needs to come up with a good answer to explain why only 4,800 of the 8,500 fans showed up for the game Saturday at the Joan.

Not a bad job by Hambone for sure, but still a ways to go when scheduling stiffs. If the Herd had a slate of D-State, E-Carolina, T-Tech, KU, and BU, perhaps another undefeated season would surely be at hand.

What are KU, Delaware State, ECU, Baylor rankings? Ummmm, Pot calling the Kettle black? BTW, not enough people left after halftime at Puskar to start a fight!

When I turned the game over about 2 o'clock and saw the cameras scan the stadium crowd, I just knew the scoreboard wasn't favoring the cousins. However, I do tip my hat to the two thousand or so fans that sat through the 2nd half.

It's hard to criticize Hamrick for not scheduling P-5's given Marshall's record of 7-35 against major teams, especially considering that only one of those seven wins came against a team that finished the year with a winning record. The Herdiots are perfectly happy playing one of the weakest schedules in FBS.

Sagarin says WVU SOS is #63.
Facts state that there's 64 teams making up the P5.

Good job by Lyons & Company.

Sagarin's SOS ratings are based on games played to date. Ours will continue to rise as the season progresses. Can't say the same for Marshall.

Currently Marshall's SOS according the same source is 128 and there are only 130 teams in FBS.

When it's all said and done their SOS will once again rank among the lowest in FBS, even lower than some FCS teams, as usual.

Gotta hand it to the OP.........Hamrick is genius at knowing what keeps Herdiots happy.

Very disingenuous post, as most Herd fans I've seen want to lace them up against the cousins. No reason to be scared, but since you are, there's no shame in admitting to it.

This is comedy relief. Marshall fans discussing strength of schedule. Hahahahahahahahahaha. And attendance. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You guys make my day. Dying. Next you guys will be talking your impending ACC or SEC membership.

............ Next you guys will be talking your impending ACC or SEC membership.

If you read their boards you'd find out that they are afraid to even move up to the AAC because they would no longer be able to accept prop 48 players.....the life and soul of their program.

if the herd played our schedule they would end 2-10...they should be happy that the citizens of west virginia will be stuck financing their beach trip/bowl loss.....unless they choke again

Well crap. The Hamrick is a genius thing is not working out. Back to the drawing board for him. Maybe if FAU and FIU gets asked to go to another conference and CUSA replaces them with Concord and Marietta.
