Three questions. A) Will scanners be allowed for fans to keep with the game since no one will be close enough to the field to see it? They do at the races. B) Will the ceremonial cow tipping take place before the game or at halftime? C) Will the Gobblers choke on the Vols?

I don't get the appeal of this game at Bristol. For NAPCAR racing it is an awesome track. Thunder Valley is awesome.

For Football imo this is not good, except for the owners at Bristol. I wouldn't pay to be that far back. It's gonna be worse than basketball games in the Super Dome or in Indianapolis where the overwhelming majority are watching the game on a TV screen at the stadium.

They say they'll be 150k show up. I guess PT Barnum was right "there's a sucks born every minute!"

If the crowd is only going to be in the grandstands, it's going to look just awful on TV. And I can't imagine watching the game through binoculars all four quarters is going to be all kinds of fun.

Whoever came up with this idea was smoking all the drugs.

A friends brother has been running dragsters at the Spring Nationals in Bristol since the late '70's. I know that place well. When Tech came up with idea for the game in the 90's, I thought, "That's the craziest idea I've ever heard my life, playing football in the infield of a NASCAR track."

Why don't they just play home and home? Both teams are close enough to bus it.

I'll still watch it for the laughs. I wonder if they'll drag out Richard Petty for the coin flip?

It's looking like a tough night on Pit Row for the Gobblers. Is the warning flag out yet?

"The wheels have come off Justin, the wheels have come off! Bring her in and let's tow her home."

I think someone just found out he's not in Memphis in anymore? Elvis has left the building.
