The Charleston YMCA announces 2018 Gold and Blue BBQ in honor of Coach Don Nehlen

The YMCA is excited to announce the 2018 Gold and Blue BBQ in honor of Coach Don Nehlen. Coach Nehlen was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2005. His career record is 202-128-8 and is West Virginia University’s all-time winningest coach. Several of Coach Nehlen’s former players will also be attending. The list includes Major Harris, Brian Jozwiak, Quincy Wilson, Rasheed Marshall, and Avon Cobourne. Cobourne currently is the Business Development Director at the YMCA and wanted to take the opportunity to honor his former coach.

Tickets: $50 Early Bird until May 31

Tickets can be purchased online at YMCAofKV.org and will be available for purchase at the Charleston Family YMCA starting Friday May 18

Proceeds from the event will support the Charleston Family YMCA’s new Child Development Area.

The India Center is very nice and dead easy to get to. I just hope the parking lot is big enough, it can get tight when the place is pushing capacity. I'll be there, going back for fourths at a minimum.
