Yet none of you can articulate what the mandate was? At least none of you has. Why not?
A wave election by definition means sweeping BOTH houses and/or the Presidency. '94 midterms was a 'wave election' 2010 midterms was a 'wave election'. 1980 Presidential race was a 'wave' election.
2018 midterms was a statistical blip on the political radar screen. A referendum on Trump and his agenda won him an increased majority in the Senate and Republicans held all of the House seats they didn't voluntarily retire from!
Democrat winners in districts Trump carried ran against their party's leadership or as Conservatives. Meantime the Democrat party base on the far Left is challenging their party's leadership and threatening to form their own caucus in opposition to Pelosi and Schumer.

I think this election drew clearer lines between the two parties. There are no more "moderates" in either party. The base of each party is either solid conservative or radical Left. Which is good. Bold colors as Ronald Reagan once called for not pastels. Next election cycle we will have clear unambiguous choices.

It was a one sided wave. Kinda like on one side of a pier, on the right, with the senate, there was a retreat of water and on the other side there was a wave. Here in Va, it was due to redistricting.
Lol, a normal President would have picked up at least 6 in the senate in Sates where the President won, spin all ya want, I can read statistics.

She also said Healthcare is a right , it says so in Article 3 section 2 in the Bill of Rights: "Healthcare shall be free and made available for all", isn't that right Keyser? Healthcare is guaranteed to us under the Bill of Rights correct?

Now ask yourselves, why would they be willing to stake their legislative agenda on something that cost them their majorities in 2010 and has proven to be universally unpopular? Obamacare. And why would they back legislation on something that poll after poll shows the American people are clearly against: infringements on their 2nd ammendment rights?

If our so called news media were worth a damn, they'd investigate how this dynamic shift occurred? That's a pretty dramatic shift in voting patterns in just one election cycle. That's not news? That phenomenon isn't happening anywhere else? Why did it happen there then? What are California Congressional Democrats doing that everyone out there wants? Is this a national trend?
No one in the media is curious about this? Wonder why not?
