You're the one who mentioned Sagarin, Paw Paw. It's not my fault that Sagarin ranks Ohio State No. 1, your new big brother No. 26, and a team that beat WVU No. 81. Use a different metric the next time, so that I don't humiliate you again.
Maryland can score, but it will be interesting to see if they can move the ball against the Buckeyes. That could be much closer than the line is currently projecting it. It's just too hard to predict these games this year, particularly against the spread. I think I'm currently like 0-24 picking them.In all honesty, Ohio State is not the best team in the Country right now. The Buckeyes' defense reminds me of the 2018 defense, which got blasted by Purdue, and gashed by Maryland when Ohio State escaped with a 52-51 win. If the defense doesn't improve, then a loss to Maryland on Saturday or Indiana the following week would not shock me.

................... My point was that Sagarin isn't all that accurate, especially with so many games to be played, but you foolishly rely upon Sagarin SOS ratings because you're so desperate to believe that WVU is the best team in West Virginia...............
Appy would walk the dog with you boys...beat Texas Tech and get back to me!Back to my original point which you keep trying to deflect from, and that is that Mooshall's strength of schedule is weak. There is no denying that. IMHO not only would WVU be undefeated with that pathetic schedule, but I wouldn't hesitate to say that Martinsburg High School or Spring Valley High could also be undefeated against the schedule the Blundering Turd faces.
It would shock me...Terps will not stop OSU while they might score some themselves they won't keep pace with the Bucks. In all honesty, Ohio State is not the best team in the Country right now. Opinions are like a$$holes, and yours--like so many others--stinks. No school has more "woulda, shoulda, coulda" titles than WVU.Back to my original point which you keep trying to deflect from, and that is that Mooshall's strength of schedule is weak. No chance of that happening!Sounds like WVU should schedule the Herd annually, in order to provide the state's residents with a football game.
Settle it on the field of play, as opposed to message board banter.
I don't disagree that Ohio State will score a lot of points on Saturday because Justin Fields and his pass catchers are as good as anybody in America, but the defense isn't as nearly as good as last season's silver bullets. Nobody has stepped up to fill the void that the Bosa brothers and Chase Young have left as dominant pass rushers, and the secondary, which lost three starters who now start in the NFL, doesn't look nearly as good as last year's unit.It would shock me...Terps will not stop OSU while they might score some themselves they won't keep pace with the Bucks.
Agreed they lost some special talent on that side of the ball but what's left plenty good enough to defeat Maryland, IMHO! OSU 52 Maryland 27.I don't disagree that Ohio State will score a lot of points on Saturday because Justin Fields and his pass catchers are as good as anybody in America, but the defense isn't as nearly as good as last season's silver bullets. Not crazy about the side as you know lot's of ways to lose laying 4 TD's but love the " over the bus ,Gus".So you're taking Maryland +27.5 and over 73.5, Tony? Although the total is very high, I tend to agree with you here.
Yeah, 27.5 is too many points. If Ohio State blows the Twerps out in the First Half, then the Bucks will come out disinterested in the Second Half and Day will replace all of his defensive starters in the Fourth Quarter, as happened vs. Rutgers. This sets up for a backdoor Maryland cover, even if Ohio State were to race out to a big lead. Having said all of this, Penn State had 30 first downs vs. Maryland, but killed itself with three turnovers (including a scoop and score) vs. none for the Twerps.Ohio State would need to start out crushing Maryland to cover 27.5 points, basically ripping out their heart in the opening few possessions and forcing Maryland to be one dimensional.
That just looks like a big line to a team that just went on the road and beat Penn State with relative ease.
What message board banter? The banter by Marshall fans?Sounds like WVU should schedule the Herd annually, in order to provide the state's residents with a football game.
