Texas loses again...

Makes Herman more beloved by recruits.

Associated with well known Houston rappers, made a bet with Paul Wall and got a platinum grill and hung out with strippers.

This is actually eight days old.
When Urban Meyer was suspended last week Ohio State claimed Herman was with Smith at a Miami strip club.

No one picked up the story because it is worthless information.
So an Ohio St employee pushes this story to ESPN.
Will die as quick as it did last week.

8 days old or not it's a black eye. Anyone hanging around with Smith makes it bad.

Thank goodness. We wouldn't want bad news about Texas Longsnore.

Yeah, parents of recruits with character want their kids being influenced by coaches who overlooks wife-beaters and hang out in strip clubs.

Ha ha, Zach isn't my boy. Even if I hadn't known anything about his deplorable off-the-field behavior, I would have sacked his rear years ago for having been a lousy WR coach.

Taking about Zach's and Texas winning or losing

Y'all should check this out. This is Zachary Evans. 5 star top RB 2020 recruit out of Houston. Said to be the best RB out of Texas since AP

Keep quiet about that commitment.
The new strategy deployed by recruiting coordinator Bryan Carrington

Sounds like Herman and UT are really losing.

I actually feel sorry for what is about to be unleashed on the Big XII

What happen with the strip club?

I thought the pitchforks were going to surround Tom Herman.

Ohio St is the one that looks horrible here again. Everyone is talking about how petty they are.

Don't get in the mud with Texas

You are not even mentioning Jake Smith.
The future Christian McCaffrey. Who will be in Austin next year.

Then the one player that will be a Heisman Trophy Winner
Mookie Cooper.

If y'all never seen Mookie Cooper Google him.
They guy is unbelievable. 5'9 180. Electric fast. Can line up in the backfield or the slot.
A better version of Percy Harvin.

So a poor man’s Tavon Austin.

Tavon Austin is another good example
Was glad to see the Rams use him in the backfield a lot more.
Wonder how he will fit in with the Cowboys. Thinking they want to use him in the slot a lot more and for whatever reason that has not worked in the NFL.

In CFB you can play slot and excel with either 4.4 speed or elite route running skills.

In the NFL you have to be a precise route runner.
Wes Welker being the perfect example.

Unlike Cooper and Harvin Tavon Austin was not considered a Top 100 prospect.
He may have been underrated but both Harvin and Mookie Cooper were labeled can't miss prospects

There goes that theory.

There goes that theory.

What theory?
That Austin was very underrated out of HS.
He was a 4 star and top 200 player but at that time the DMV did not receive the attention it does now.
Probably because the B1G considers it prime recruiting territory.

He had elite speed and still does now but he has never developed into a great slot WR because of his route running.
Football is timing. Precise routes make a huge difference especially at the NFL level and at the slot WR position.
