Mike Gundy attempted to take advantage of the gifts that the refs were giving him.

OLine downfield
Allowing his DBs to hold
Throwing the flags for any contact by the Texas DBs
Pick plays by the WRs they called on Texas but not Oklahoma State
Offensive Line Holding

On the third down play in OT that resulted in the lone first down they could have called a false start

Then a couple of plays later he has an illegal formation and his OLine is 10 yards downfield.

Gundy should have played it smart. He knew that they were going to even up the playing field at a certain point.

Texas doesn't have to play smart when you have 8 extra guys that wear stripes on the field.

Only reason Texas scored the TD in OT is because of a terrible PI call when Texas receiver tripped on his own feet. Horrible call.

But Gundy should have never been in that situation to begin with. Like I've said many times before Gundy and OSU always choke on their way to a Big 12 title.

Herman saved his job for another day. Let's see if WVU can put his ass back on the hot seat. Have my doubts though. We have only played 1 complete game so far this year.

You are allowing the announcers to determine what your eyes can see for yourself.

Guy grabbed him. They were committing PI the entire game.

The game is pretty simple...
Texas gets everyone's A game

With that they have 3 data points better than WVU
Simple why some have a 7 point spread

Oklahoma State beat WVU by 7
Tx Tech beat WVU by 7

Texas went to OT with both

WVU ended up tied with Baylor
Texas beat them 10+

WVU needs to continue what they did this week and improve it...
Take advantage of single coverage on the outside

Because Brown may not be able to run the ball...
Texas has a 350 pound guy sitting right in the middle
When he gets tired they bring in another one who is about 340

Going to be about Wheaton coming up big
Big play WR on the outside

Just need to make sure Doege has enough time in the pocket

You're allowing your fandom and love for Texas to cover your eyes.

Comparing scores. Really.

Read the whole post and not just the parts you want. We as WVU fans know what we have and what we get. We don't need some Texas fraud fan to tell us some BS on a WVU message board.

Oh and WVU gets everyone's A game because the Big 12 teams don't want to lose to WVU.

But I thought I was a fraud.

Your attack doesn't make sense because it is contradictory.

Try again, Allen. You really suck at this

[roll]

Keep the thread on subject will you. Geez.

Hard when you have people who rudely interrupt.

Close game. Texas is comfortable that Ehlinger and the coaching has found the ability to move the ball at a certain level. Even if it is him being a bulldozer. Really need a more athletic QB for that
But Ehlinger no matter what moves the ball

In Austin so expect a great show. Most likely one that goes extra. Texas can't find their way out of an OT game it seems

Yeah it's tiring when people interrupt. WVU usually has no problem in Austin. But I think WVU comes up short 42-21.

Doubt it is by that many.
Turnovers would have to occur for that to happen.

Texas is just trying to get into the bye week.

WVU a consistent team now?
If they are they could have a chance if they move the ball well and force Ehlinger into issues

WVU is another team that makes Ehlinger really work and make tight window throws

Texas doesn't get enough pressure up front consistently to give their CBs the ability to play press man coverage. Playing press man at the college level is extremely difficult especially if the refs don't allow physicality

So as of right now there are holes in their defense they need to fix

They are a difficult program to actually nail down.

Only thing that is consistent is that they have the QB who can make plays to keep the games close

Roll of the dice everytime they play.
