Way too much crying and complaining about getting hammered by the Gators IMO with one starter on the sidelines.. I was there and Florida wanted it much more than WVU and it showed in every aspect without a doubt. However, the panic by Mountaineer fans is almost comical. Could lose a couple more in the coming weeks and still be blessed to have this bunch. They hustle and will take a few they shouldn't along the rest of the way. The Florida game is over and I still see this team being special. Sometimes an old fashioned ass kicking can do wonders. LOL

I think from here on out they are going to have a tough time in a lot of games. More losses are on the way. But if they don't give up, listen to their coach, and hit the NCAA's with some momentum they can make some noise in the post season.

Huggs says he likes these guys. That means he is optimistic about them. I think February is going to be tough month for this team and yet I am optimistic that if they can hit the postseason with some momentum they can win some games in the NCAAs.

UF shot 60% from 3. All you need to know, it wasnt our day against a team that desperately needed a signature win. Weve had mediocre teams buzzsaw top ranked teams at the Coliseum before, didnt make the team we beat any less of a threat.

Peaks and valleys...NCAA basketball has always been that way. Get through the storms and then hopefully we start peaking again come post season. 7 or 8 losses by end of the season is not that bad. Especially in this conference.

Hell we lost to LSU last year in Morgantown and still made a nice tourney run.

This has been one of the most enjoyable seasons in awhile, I dont think they necessarily overachieved though, their perception from the national media was just way off. We went to the Sweet 16 and no that was not a fluke, we were a 5 seed, and beat a 4 seed in the second round, it was hardly an earth shattering 2nd round win. We returned most of last year's roster with some nice additions as well, and as good as Staten was, he wasnt NBA caliber, and he wasnt best suited for the pressing defense last year which is why his numbers declined. Browne also a nice player but not an irreplacable talent. We collectively have a team deep with legit P5 conference players that has strong chemistry, that is a very strong combo that can accomplish big things. Our one knock is a lack of an elite 1 or 2 players, if we had that we could be legitimately talking NC right now.

Not really, you need the glue guys just as badly as the top flight talent. Look at LSU, absolutely no depth and they will probably miss the tournament with the runaway best player in the 2016 NBA draft at their disposal. We dont have a single player that projects to be drafted, that is probably an issue, but given there will be a lack of an elite team in the 2016 NCAA tournament this year, unlike last year with UK and to a lesser extend Duke and Wisconsin, we might possibly find ourselves with a realistic chance at a title at the start of the second weekend.

Because usually when a team projects nobody to be drafted they arent hanging around the top 10 in the polls. Major testament to the depth on this team.
