take the points...nuts giving 20.5....take the points.....skunkbears giving 23.5.....take the points....do you see a pattern developing here?
Couldn't take WVU + 4 with your millions in loot! Mounties have quit , IMHO!take the points...nuts giving 20.5....take the points.....skunkbears giving 23.5.....take the points....do you see a pattern developing here?
Just to clarify: You are saying that the underdogs are going to cover the spreads, correct? By the way, the WVU line opened at +2, but jumped to +4.5, which is a sizeable increase in the betting world. Money must have poured in on the Horny Toads, but I wouldn't trust Gary Patterson to finally beat Kneel Brown.take the points...nuts giving 20.5....take the points.....skunkbears giving 23.5.....take the points....do you see a pattern developing here?

I'm not trying to be a smart a$$ (for once), but your terminology to begin this thread was wrong. What you should have posted was that bettors should take the favorites and lay the points. When you take the points, you are betting on the underdog. I haven't placed a bet on a sporting event since my parents moved out of the Las Vegas area many years ago, but find the recent explosion in sports betting to be fascinating. Brad Howe has an interesting podcast on West Virginia MetroNews called, "Draft Kings: The Game Within the Game." One of Howe's regular guest hosts, Dave Sharapan, is a Yinzer who used to set the betting lines at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. This guy really knows his sh!t.no..i say the nuts and bears will win by more than the spread....same with tcu
No bro, I think the team has figured out they're over matched and are handing their heads. He ( Brown) needs to be playing Greene at QB just to spark the team if nothing else.they haven't quit they are overmatched...still......I will save my millions for basketball season

P.S. A bettor might get the best bang for his buck by betting on WVU to win outright, which is referred to as, "the money line." I would expect the payoff to be quite a bit better for a money line bet than betting on WVU and taking the 4.5 points, and let's face it: Kneel has had Patterson's number to date.
The money line paid off handsomely for those bold enough to bet on it, I'm sure. Gary Patterson is supposed to be a defensive guru, but his defense made WVU's offense look almost like Ohio State's No. 1 in the Nation offense. Gary is an overrated clown.P.S.
