The one thing missing from this season's Pattern is the Big Win....DH gets One each season....thought it would be Okie State....doubt its at TCU....Maybe its Texas Tech? I will be Cheering Hard for a WIN...unthinkable as it might be to some.....However. to think the Big Win was Maryland....and we're Done....Be There Aloha!
OK.......................................I can authorize TorontoEERs to give every Mountaineer fan a 1% discount on a case of dem that pickles (the new horned ones). Listen.................that amounts to about 35 cents on a case. If every Mountaineer ordered a case ............ 1% can turn into some serious jack! TorontoERRs can then donate the 1% to Holgs and company. By the way, Holgs get his personal jar a week........................for free.

While I have been disappointed with our QB play there is no getting away from the fact that this is a brutal conference.
Our conference opponents haven't played anyone yet. Obviously, the Big 12 schedules games with good teams against good teams for late in the season. That's smart in terms of TV ratings down the stretch but means the records now tell us little.
Then again, we used to crow about early season wins to highly rated but overly so teams. I still hear people brag about beating "#3" Virginia Tech in 2003. In reality Tech was a 5 loss team that finished deservedly unranked. On the other hand, overrating a victory beats the pulp out of rationalizing losses.

There is one thing you can be sure of. The OP is a Mountaineer fan thru and thru. Yes, I was optimistic with regard to the TCU game. OK, the Mountaineers got beat by a Top 5 team. I can live with that. I remain optimistic about the season and look forward to a mid tier bowl game. By the way, I still think the Mountaineers are a Very Good team. They have played the best of the best the last 4 games. I am not down on Holgs either. He has a tough job and the fans have high expectations. Dadgummit!
