And they still have games against Oklahoma and Baylor to help them get into the playoff. I was also surprised to see that Oklahoma State generates more revenue from their sports programs than schools such as Penn State and Nebraska.

OSU beat the committee's #8 --AP and Coaches top five TCU--and also beat WVU at Morgantown which had one loss on the season at that point and was just out of the top 25.

ND's shining point of the season is a loss to Clemson--who is getting rated high because they beat Notre Dame.

I find it interesting that ND is being counted as a non-conference game for Clemson. I guess it is, but it isn't. It doesn't really matter...I just find it interesting.

Notre Dame fans want nothing to do with being a football member of the ACC. I think they play only 5 ACC games a year. The one school that really got screwed on that ND deal was Pitt. The series they had with ND was cancelled which brought the Irish to Heinz Field every other year and thus a packed stadium. With the ACC arrangement, ND now plays at Pitt only once every 5 or 6 years. A real kick in the groin from a financial perspective. In an attempt to replace the lost revenue, Pitt became very interested once again in the WVU-Pitt series.

Not true but ok! Pitt's old AD(jerkoff) wanted nothing to do with WVU. New AD really wanted a legit rival and tried to lock up Penn St to a long term deal. PSU was t interested so new AD approached WVU. It doesn't matter how the two got scheduled the bottom line is this game should happen every year. It was critical the ACC secured ND as a partner. Plain and simple. Stating ND "only" plays 5 ACC games tells me you kinda missed the memo with expansion and what that partnership produced when the ACC went back to renegotiate with the TV contracts.

The two polls are referring to do t mean jack squat

4 more weeks of football will make all of today's polls obsolete. And there will be 1 or 2 unbeaten Power 5 teams with the 1-loss teams battling for the remaining national playoff slots.

The ACC has officially announced the football opponents for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish through the 2025 season.

. . . . . .

With today’s announcement, the Fighting Irish will play five ACC schools each season from 2016 through 2021, four in 2022, six in 2023, four in 2024, and six in 2025.

. . . . . . .

Looks like you might have missed the memo to me.

No you missed it buddy! My point about "five" games is that five games is a lot! That's a huge concession that ND made. A huge comittment to the ACC football conference. Heck ND had to stop playing like 3 Big Ten games a year because They joined forces with the ACC. There are years when ND plays only 2 games less than a full ACC schedule. That gave the ACC the ability to force a renegotiation of TV contracts. Those "only five" games ND committed to the ACC made the ACC millions! You said Pitt got screwed apparently because they lost two or three home games against ND over ten years. Pitt/ND had a ten year deal if I remember corectly and have had them at Heinz Field three times recently. Looks like over the decade Pitt loses 2 home games with them. Pitt isn't screwed. Very happy with the ACC deal. So let me repeat myself.......not true but ok!
