DeCaro is 5-1 on the season and this will be his 17th start on the mound. He has a 4.08 ERA in 79.1 innings pitched, walking 38 and striking out 67. He is allowing 4.3 hits per appearance this season. In UNC's Regional, he pitched twice, totaling 6.0 innings. There, he gave up five earned runs on four hits, walked four, and struck out three.
Switalski has had an up-and-down season, but as of late he has been at his best. He is 5-2 on the season, starting 13 games, but pitching 17 times. He has thrown 60.2 innings, striking out 54, walking 34, while he has a 5.34 ERA. In his last outing he had a season-best 7.2 innings pitched, striking out three, while he gave up one run on six hits.
