Steve Spurrier mentioned WVU during is press conference today...

At the 31:29 mark he mentions how he finds it odd that WVU plays in the Big 12.

Yea, he was basically talking about playing semi-local teams and how he felt it was important.

WVU in the Big 12 is odd. Sure, the best (only Big Five) option we had....but it's still weird.

Wasn't South Carolina one of the schools that voted against WVU in the SEC about 4 years ago? Would make sense as to why he would make those comments.
