Huggie took the powder when challenged by the doctrine to send the boys to the Henderson Center.
you drunk this early?Huggie took the powder when challenged by the doctrine to send the boys to the Henderson Center.
The " Flagship" is certainly taking on water!Huggie took the powder when challenged by the doctrine to send the boys to the Henderson Center.
Huggy has never won anything of note to my memory. He sits up there like he's some kind of a living legend, get's his nose out of joint when Dan suggests the WVU-MU annual game should be home and home and cancels a series that had been played since 1978 to show MU who's boss!Give Huggins credit for coming up with a gimmick several years ago when WVU went 13-19, then 17-16, but he needs a new gimmick now. Iowa state scored 45 total points vs. Tennessee in Ames recently. The Cyclones scored 53 points in the FIRST HALF last night. Pressy not worky....
In Huggin's ten full years at WVU he has taken the Mountaineers to 8 NCAA tournaments. Marshall has been to 5 all time. Plus the last three was during Huckaby's paying players and giving gifts NCAA violation seasons.Huggy has never won anything of note to my memory. Well, he earns his money moHe's racked up a lot of regular season wins in 40 years, many in mediocre conferences, but has advanced to the Final Four only twice, and never coached in a national championship game (unlike John Beilein & Thad Matta).
Yawn, what's he won?In Huggin's ten full years at WVU he has taken the Mountaineers to 8 NCAA tournaments. Marshall has been to 5 all time. Plus the last three was during Huckaby's paying players and giving gifts NCAA violation seasons.
Granted, I was not replying to you, but again you feel the need to butt in.One conference tournament title and no regular season conference championships in a Power 5 league by a supposed Hall of Fame coach isn't very impressive. Oh, and the one conference tournament championship resulted from the best Big East teams losing early, and WVU playing no school better than seventh-seeded Notre Dame.
I do follow the program and every year I disappointed they don't win anything of note, Sorry a Big East Conference Tournament title when all 12 teams are going to the dance anyway and want to rest, ain't much!Granted, I was not replying to you, but again you feel the need to butt in.
Were you not the one, when Ohio State & Michigan tied for the Big 10 title claimed that it didn't matter winning the regular season title, only the tournament title matters? That's what I thought. Which ever way the wind blows.
So it's WVU's fault that the number 1 & 2 seeds got knocked off? But thanks for following the WVU program so faithfully, year in and out.
Well, I just say this, Huggy comes closer to earning his salary than does Hogo!Well if you remember, the Big East had grown into the NBA Eastern Conference with 16 teams. I think only 8 teams made it in.
The following the program comment was directed to that mega Ohio State super fan.
No, I did not say that regular season conference championships do not matter, so stop lying. (You're obviously begging the Michigan fan to save you again.) In fact, it is more difficult to win a regular season title than a conference tournament, as you should know because WVU was given a gift in 2010 by getting to play seventh, eighth, and eleventh seeds in the Big East Tournament. Of course, the conference tournament championship is more important, to the extent that only the tournament champion receives the automatic NCAA Tournament bid. Moreover, where two schools tie for the regular season championship, the tournament championship winner, if it were one of the two, certainly would have bragging rights.Granted, I was not replying to you, but again you feel the need to butt in.

But Holgorsen doesn't have a lifetime contract, and a license to do anything that he wants in Morganhole with impunity, though, so there's that.Well, I just say this, Huggy comes closer to earning his salary than does Hogo!
That's true...there is a strong and vocal bunch that wants to at least hold Hogo accountable for his many failures on and off the field! Huggy operates with impunity! But Holgorsen doesn't have a lifetime contract, and a license to do anything that he wants in Morganhole with impunity, though, so there's that.

You're changing your story again, WestVirginiaStateRetard. Ohio State, Michigan State, and Michigan once tied for the regular season championship of the B1G. Michigan State won the B1G Tournament Championship, and, therefore, had bragging rights over Michigan and Ohio State. A three-way tie for first at 13-5 isn't impressive, unless you're a Fold & Blew fan, and pine for the days when WVU tied with three other Big Least football conference teams, only to see lowly Pitt get the BCS bowl invitation, and pee down its collective leg vs. Urban Meyer's Running Utes. As you continue to extract information from MichiganHerd, ask him why he's not posting, notwithstanding your constant begging of him to save your sorry a$$ on here. You're not fooling anybody, so stop embarrassing yourself.NEW GAME:
Guess which poster said what:
1. Who said that a better record over a season is more important than what a team can do in one weekend.
OR
2. I doubt that my school would waste the time and money to hang a Co-championship banner with those skunkweasels. The tournament is far more important to win than the regular season title.
I wouldn't be so sure, as perennial heavyweight Stephen F. Austin had no problem solving the Press a couple of years ago. Is it possible that the Press is wearing down WVU's own players, and that this is partly responsible for poor second-half play as the season progresses? The one good second-half performance in recent weeks was the Texas game in Morganhole, before which WVU had been off for four days.I hate to agree with tOFUGrab but this time you are correct about the press no longer working. Our conference mates know what they are in for and probably devote a lot more time practicing against that style of defense than they did in the past, and the results are showing up on the scoreboard. Notice how they no longer inbound the ball to the corners where they can be trapped, and also how once they break the press they realize they have numbers and immediately attack the basket.
On a good note, once we get in the NCAA tournament our opponents won't have the luxury of much time to prepare for it, which could lead to the "Press Virginia" style being effective again.
