My guess is that, they have figured out that these hires were a big mistake. Partially because of conservative pressure, but mostly because they couldn't/wouldn't/an were completely unqualified for the job!
The timing of all this makes me wonder if these companies were getting bribes from Biden Administration to impose these stupid DEI policies and now that the affirmative action administration is out, the gravy train has ended so these companies are abandoning the DEI policies.
