South Kent (Ct.) 2025 guard Kelvin Odih told me that this trip definitely surpassed his expectations and really helped West Virginia in his overall recruitment. He spent most of his time with assistant Tom Ostrom and told me that he really liked the message from the coaching staff. He was impressed with the family oriented atmosphere on campus and how the coaching staff was very straight up and honest with him. He liked the facilities a lot and the coaches have plans for him to come in and make an immediate impact if he would commit to the Mountaineers anywhere from the one to the three. Odih believes he is a natural fit for West Virginia does with their fast offense, transition game and all the cutting. He said that he will head to Creighton Sept. 13, then Colorado Sept. 21 and finally Rutgers Oct. 4 for visits.
