Venice (Fla.) offensive tackle Ethan Mort told me that he has received 24 scholarship offers including one from West Virginia. He said he has been speaking with offensive line coach Matt Moore for a few weeks and is really excited about the program because he understands the history of the school and the success that they've had over the years. So far he has only visited Central Florida but told me he wants to take trips to several schools including West Virginia when the dead period ends. He wants to find a program that has a good culture and energy and isn't looking to decide until sometime after his senior season. He told me that he likes coach Moore a lot because he reminds him of himself with how down to Earth he is and how he enjoys being outdoors as well. He's being recruited as a tackle and Moore has been impressed with his size and ability to move at it.
