College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy 2022 running back Damari Alston has a ways to go in his recruitment but he already has collected offers from a number of schools including West Virginia. He made the trek up to Morgantown for the Oklahoma State game and left highly encouraged and impressed with the experience. He understands that this is a rebuilding year but is really excited to see how things come together in the future with this coaching staff. He had his first real chance to spend time with head coach Neal Brown, running backs coach Chad Scott and outside linebackers coach Al Pogue and really enjoyed it. He told me he definitely plans on coming back for another visit and would like to see what the stadium is like for a night game. He also got a good look at the facilities including how they're all grouped together and told me that it was a positive trip. He visited Notre Dame last weekend and they are in the mix, along with a lot of others but the Mountaineers made a good impression on the underclassman running back.
