Earlier today West Virginia extended a scholarship offer to Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton safety Joshua Moran and he told me that it was actually the first time he had heard from the Mountaineers. Moran moved to his new school around two weeks ago and told me that things have really started to take off with around 11 offers during that time period. Right now, West Virginia and SMU are his favorite schools but he told me that if California offers they will also be in that mix. Moran told me that he plans to get out to visit several schools this summer and will definitely be using one of those visits to check out Morgantown. He plans to have a decision sometime by the end of the summer and is being recruited anywhere from an outside linebacker to a safety in college.
