Bergenfield (N.J.) tight end Jovani Haskins told me that he has spoken quite a bit with the West Virginia coaching staff and they have been targeting him since early in the process. He has talked a lot with Dan Gerberry and told me he is very interested in finding out more about the school when he makes his official visit the weekend of Dec. 11. While he has never been to Morgantown he told me that he has been very impressed with what he has seen out of the offense and the atmosphere on campus. Right now he has a top four of West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh and North Carolina which means he has dropped Miami and Rutgers from the mix and added the last two. He told me he plans to take visits to his two new schools on his list in January because he has never visited either of those as well and doesn't have a firm timeline for a decision. I got the feeling that West Virginia is definitely right in the thick of things here and a good official visit can go a long way.
