Cleveland Heights (Oh.) 2025 defensive lineman Jayquan Stubbs told me that his official visit to West Virginia was a fantastic experience because he was able to take an in-depth tour of the campus and facilities while spending a lot of time with the coaches. He was able to attend team meetings and spend more time with the players which gave him a better feel for what life would be like as a student there. He told me that this visit really helped the Mountaineers and he likes everything about it. Stubbs said he can clearly see how they could help him grow on and off the field. He coaches made him feel like a priority during the trip and really focused on the relationship aspect of it all. He has a few more official visits lined up to several schools but he definitely left highly impressed.
